To attract capable candidates for more than 250 planned sales positions in its agencies across Florida, Allstate Insurance Co. is actively recruiting potential branch owners in anticipation of continued population growth in the Sunshine State.

Allstate is also hoping to draw more than 60 individuals at mid-career and mid-level management positions to own and operate their own enterprises by providing incentives in the form of training and support. The company has targeted the Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and Miami markets for placement.

"Candidates don't need an insurance background. We'll provide them with comprehensive education and the resources to help them get off to a solid start," James Randolph, Allstate's Florida strategic deployment leader, said. "They do need a strong entrepreneurial drive and passion to help others and their community. The ideal candidate wants to build a legacy they can pass on."

Felisha Foote stands out as a successful result of Allstate’s template. Having opened her own agency in Jacksonville, she stated that her demonstrated profit was driven largely by the company’s support system.

"Allstate has given me the opportunity to achieve my goal and continue to grow from it,"Foote said. "I'd encourage anyone who wants to be a business owner to think about Allstate and how with their support, you can help people protect what matters most to them."
