Following a fast-paced, eight-week introduction to the CampusNet Cloud hosted platform, Campus Management Corp. recently revealed that New Horizons South Florida, a franchise operation, marked major milestones in student achievement less than one year later.
Under the umbrella of New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, a large independent IT training company, New Horizons South Florida opted to expand its scope to three key locations — Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach — in order to more accurately track student success with its new CampusNexus Student technology.
"Career students who attend New Horizons South Florida are mostly adults going through a transition, including returning veterans and displaced workers,” Arnie Girnun, president of New Horizons South Florida, said. “These individuals require new training and an accelerated path to entering the IT field or going to the next level.”
Girnun noted that the system required flexibility to handle all aspects of the students’ needs and schedules. He cited current completion rates for enrollees at approximately 90 percent, expressing satisfaction at the successful changeover to a new platform.
