Same-day electronics device service repair — from cracked screens to water damage — is now available for consumers in the West Pembroke Pines area with the recent opening of uBreakiFix Dunedin’s newest location at 14826 Pines Blvd.
For owners Ike Wetherill and Jimmy Smith, who opened uBreakiFix North Miami Beach in June and recently acquired uBreakiFix Weston, Pembroke Pines is the pair’s third location. Smith serves as the brand's South Florida area manager, while Wetherill is company founder Justin Wetherill’s father. The pair oversees six additional Florida uBreakiFix venues.
Tackling software, camera, and other small electronics devices with convenient “same-day” service, the firm repairs iPhones, smartphones, tablets, iPods, computers and game consoles. Every uBreakiFix technician undergoes thorough training and patrons can enjoy quick and “hassle-free” customer service. Each repair comes with a 90-day warranty, with an average repair totaling approximately $85.
"We want to build trust with our customers by taking the traumatic experience of damaged devices and making the repair process simple," Justin Wetherill said. "As we expand into West Pines, we want the community to know there are options beyond replacement, and uBreakiFix is here to provide them with a trusted alternative."
The company opened 52 stores during the first half of 2016 and plans to have 275 stores across North America by the end of the year. uBreakiFix has saved Americans an estimated $500 million in replacement costs since its 2009 founding.
