The Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research, which facilitates funding needs for companies created in conjunction with academic institutions, recently inked a deal with Pensacola technology and digital marketing firm DigiGroup Holdings LLC.

DigiGroup utilizes technology developed at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC). The full-service firm provides scalable solutions that are affordable and user-friendly for all business owners, enabling them to compete in their respective market sectors.
"DigiGroup is optimizing digital commerce and marketing across multiple device platforms," Florida Institute’s CEO Dr. Jackson Streeter stated. "The company is providing customers with an evolving, scalable technology platform that supports revenue growth while minimizing overhead."
The Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research is a nonprofit dually based in Gainesville and Boca Raton. It was founded by the Florida Legislature in 2007 to provide a link between Florida’s private research institutions and its state university system, specifically its technology licensing and commercialization departments.
