Students from Miami’s Florida International University (FIU) plan a visit to four key Latin American financial centers — as part of the upcoming World MBA Tour — beginning this month and continuing through early October.
Beginning with Lima, Peru on Sept. 8 at Melia Lima, travelers will then proceed to Mexico City on Sept. 10 at Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel & Towers; followed by stops in Bogota, Colombia on Sept. 14 at Hotel Bogota Summit Plaza; and San Jose, Costa Rica on Oct. 4, at Hotel Real InterContinental.
World MBA Tours function as recruiting events where admissions directors from top business schools can interface with prospective candidates; the itinerary’s purpose is to acquaint students with opportunities to explore academic partnerships with educational institutions abroad. FIU has partnerships with universities in each of the four destinations.
Through their attendance, students will have access to information about the College of Business’ MBA programs and its eight specialized master’s degrees in accounting, finance, health informatics, human resources, information systems, international business, international real estate, and marketing.
FIU’s College of Business will additionally participate in MBA fairs domestically during the fall, in New York and San Francisco as well as its home base of Miami.
The College of Business has previously achieved recognition from major news and trade publications, including U.S. News & World Report, Financial Times, AméricaEconomía and Modern Healthcare.
