Suffolk Construction — its footprint spanning the East Coast with high-profile projects in Florida and Massachusetts including one currently underway in Naples — will dispatch operations VP Mike Forth to speak at a Sept. 21 Orlando event.
The 29th Annual Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo — spanning two days from Sept. 19 to 21 at the Hilton Orlando — will feature a spectrum of professionals from architects, contractors, designers and engineers to health care providers and facility managers. Since 1987 the event has promoted the collaboration of design and health, seeking to create environments that support healing and promote overall comfort.
Suffolk’s Forth will present “Building the Hospital of the Future: Test Drive for Design” at 2016’s multi-disciplinary summit.
Now overseeing Phase IV of construction for Moorings Park at Grey Oaks, Suffolk is implementing its plans for a luxury residence community for older adults, complete with fountains, stunning views of Southwest Florida’s natural landscape, and a country club ambience.
When complete, the complex will include a four-story clubhouse along with an assisted living/memory care center. Suffolk Construction previously built several medical and residential facilities in Boston, Palm Springs, and numerous Florida locales. Suffolk operates in 37 states nationwide from its hub in Boston, Massachusetts.
