Olympus Insurance Company names EVP of Underwriting and Business Development

Olympus Insurance Company names nine-year employee Bradley Burton as EVP of Underwriting and Business Development.

A nine-year employee with Olympus Insurance Company in Palm Beach Gardens has been promoted to EVP of Underwriting and Business Development.

The Florida homeowners insurance company selected Bradley Burton, who previously served as VP of Underwriting, to fill the executive position.

Burton will oversee the company’s underwriting and policy service and product development, adding innovative ideas. In addition, he will manage the positive implementation and future changes to the company's new underwriting and policy management system, and supervise business growth efforts.

“Brad was our very first employee and has been instrumental in our company's success navigating challenging waters in the early years,” Jeffrey B. Scott, CEO of Olympus Insurance Company, said. “I have no doubt he will continue to be a driving force in our rapidly growing company.”

After entering the insurance industry with Travelers Insurance Company, Burton held influential management positions in underwriting with Southern Heritage Insurance Company, Florida Family Insurance Company and Tower Hill Insurance Group. In addition, he gathered insurance industry insight by owning and operating a Florida independent insurance agency.

Since joining Olympus, Burton has implemented numerous innovative rating systems and developed positive ways to deal with challenges.

“We always strive to be on the cutting edge of innovation in the insurance marketplace,” Burton said. “I am looking forward to developing new programs to enhance our best-in-class service while providing additional product offerings for our dedicated agency partners.”
