Visitors entering any Florida Community Bank branch lobby Oct. 19 will find themselves surrounded by rich color, free refreshments and prizes as FCB hosts its third annual “FCB Pink Day” honoring Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The public is invited to don pink apparel and join the bank’s employees, who will also wear pink, to commemorate the annual public awareness campaign. Residents need not be bank customers to enjoy the event.
“FCB Pink Day is a very special day for our company,” Florida Community Bank president and CEO Kent Ellert said. “Each year, we hope that our event will continue to spur awareness of breast cancer and the many preventative measures available to fight this disease.”
Freebies will be distributed while supplies last at all of FCB’s four dozen branches, extending from Daytona Beach to Miami-Dade. Additionally, FCB plans to make donations to local organizations committed to finding a cure for cancer.
“On our third Annual FCB Pink Day, and on all days, we recognize our employees, customers and members of the communities we serve impacted by cancer,” Ellert said.
