With “exemplary” performance for Tupperware Brands Corp. to her credit, longtime team member Patricia (Tricia) Stitzel will step up to become its president and COO effective Oct. 1, the company announced recently from its Orlando headquarters.
As Stitzel takes the reins in her new role, current president/COO Simon Hemus will take over the position of company vice chairman. Both executives will report directly to chairman and CEO Rick Goings.
"Tricia has done an exemplary job in every position she has held within the company,” Goings said. “Most recently, she has led the Americas region to tremendous growth, leveraging the Vision 20/20 strategic initiatives she has helped design and execute."
Stitzel previously acted as the company's group president for the Americas since 2014 after serving the firm from Europe for a decade. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University, an MBA from Rollins College’s business school and a master’s in human resources from Rollins as well.
Hemus will lead the company’s “Horizons” project in his new capacity, engineering the corporation’s market presence and developing expansion strategy. He has been with Tupperware Brands since 2005, when the firm acquired Sara Lee Corp., his previous employer.
Tupperware is a well-known marketer of high quality products delivered with an emphasis on the social aspect of sales.
