Mikros Systems Corporation, a Princeton, New Jersey-based manufacturer of hardware and software for maintenance applications, recently said it is moving forward on the first large-scale commercial order for its production site in Largo, Florida, as it prepares for growth in Florida.
"Expanding the Largo facility's light manufacturing and integration services for commercial customers is a key component of our long-term growth strategy," Mikros Systems Operations Director Mark Laureigh said. "We continue to expand our custom manufacturing, build to print, box build and testing services and we look forward to continuing our work with the local high-tech community in Florida and beyond."
Mikros handles research and development of electronic technology for the military as well as industrial and commercial clients. In its work for the U.S. armed forces, the company delivers state-of-the-art maintenance and monitoring systems, including smart sensors, network security features and data analysis.
The company’s Largo complex has operated since 2009 to specifically support the Mikros Systems Adaptive Diagnostic Electronic Portable Testset system for the U.S. Navy. Over the last seven years Mikros has engineered over 200 of the systems, providing ongoing maintenance, repair and training.
