Stevens Construction, a central Florida firm specializing in commercial health care construction, was awarded a contract to manage the construction of Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute's Cape Coral facility at 1030 Commerce Creek Blvd.

The institute’s expansive complex plan will house 75 patients in a setting emphasizing natural lighting and high ceilings.
Plans include space for a laboratory, pharmacy and offices and exam rooms as well as administrative and lounge areas. Once completed, the building will encompass 26,924 square feet.
Stevens Construction Project Manager Mike Brooks has joined Superintendent Henry Pasterz and Project Administrator Sue Ziegenfus on the project. Christopher J. Lee Architects Inc. designed the new facility and completion is expected by summer of 2017.
With offices in Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers, and a solid reputation in the industry, Stevens Construction handles all management aspects of large-scale commercial projects, many in the health care sector as well as in hospitality and general commercial areas. Earlier this year, it completed work for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida as well as the Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute’s Fort Myers branch.
