Florida law firm Shutts & Bowen adds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority attorney as partner

Florida full-service law firm Shutts & Bowen recently named experienced counsel, certified federal securities law specialist and sought-after public speaker Kevin Rosen as its newest financial services partner.


Florida full-service law firm Shutts & Bowen recently named experienced counsel, certified federal securities law specialist and sought-after public speaker Kevin Rosen as its newest financial services partner.

Rosen, who will be operating from the group’s Miami office, previously served as senior regional counsel in the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Department of Enforcement and was an associate regional director with FINRA Dispute Resolution and a senior staff attorney with the Florida Department of Banking and Finance.

His experience includes direct involvement with enforcement matters, overseeing proceedings for compliance, violation resolution and arbitration procedures. Rosen received his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University and his B.S.B.A. in finance from the University of Florida.

Rosen is a popular speaker on cybersecurity and regulatory matters and oftern lectures at FINRA and related industry conferences. He holds multiple certifications from institutions of higher learning and trade associations.

“Kevin brings with him unique knowledge of federal securities law and regulation, which will greatly enhance the ability of the Shutts & Bowen financial services industry practice group to serve its substantial securities industry clientele,” Shutts & Bowen Executive Committee Chairman Bowman Brown said.
