Local luminaries joined leaders of Florida Community Bank Financial Holdings Inc. recently with a ribbon-cutting to mark the institution’s Fort Lauderdale branch grand opening at 632 S. Federal Highway in Rio Vista.
Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler and Chamber of Commerce Chairs Heiko Dobrikow (2016) and Keith Castello (2017) were on hand during the Oct. 17 ceremony.
Florida Community Bank (FCB) offered special incentives for its members and guests, and community residents had an opportunity to meet and greet the Rio Vista banking center team while enjoying complimentary refreshments and beverages.
The new branch will play a key role in further expanding FCB’s South Florida market.
“We are proud to provide our loyal personal and commercial banking customers within the Fort Lauderdale community with another convenient, full-service branch location offering our full complement of financial products and services,” Kent Ellert, president and CEO of Florida Community Bank, said.
The new branch's lobby hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Friday, with the drive-through available 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Friday.
“Our newest banking center continues to support our vision to provide Florida businesses and individuals with both convenient banking center locations and access to the same robust financial services and products as those offered by the national banks,” Ellert said.
Headquartered in Weston, Florida Community Bank maintains numerous additional branches in the Miami area.
