Ribbon-cutting to welcome St. Petersburg gift shop to its new home

The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 17 to welcome Pieces Of A Dream Gifts, which offers aromatherapy, apparel and artisan products and is owned by humanitarian and environmentalist Patti Bradfield, to its new location at 2430 Central Ave. 


The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 17 to welcome Pieces Of A Dream Gifts, which offers aromatherapy, apparel and artisan products and is owned by humanitarian and environmentalist Patti Bradfield, to its new location at 2430 Central Ave. 

Originally situated at 7126 Central Ave., the shop offers an eclectic array of art, decor, and jewelry curated from around the world, with many pieces handmade by artisans from Tibet, Nepal, Thailand and Indonesia.

“Our mission is to inspire joy, culture and abundance through every aspect of our business practices,” Bradfield said. “We invite you to venture and choose from a delightful selection of distinctive cards, gifts, aromatherapy candles and unique artifacts sure to tame the cruelest of moods.”

Bradfield belongs to both the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce, where she serves on the South Beaches Referral Team.

Bradfield said she makes sure to buy exclusively from fair trade companies that purchase wares directly from individual crafters.

Pieces Of A Dream Gifts is open from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday. The store is closed Sunday and Monday.
