Experienced media pro Leah Saunders, who most recently served Florida’s B2 Communications as senior account executive, will become account manager, the company said recently from its downtown St. Petersburg hub.
Saunders, who joined public relations firm in 2010, quickly advanced to her role as account executive while gaining a strong foundation in writing and media relations. After a stint with Hillsborough County’s Visit Tampa Bay, she rejoined B2 with an emphasis on serving Hillsborough County communications.
Having recently earned her Accreditation in Public Relations certification, Saunders currently handles the firm’s major Florida real estate and development clients, formulating their media planning and content. Additionally, she served as past president for the Tampa Bay chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association.
“Leah has become a key player on the B2 team and is an invaluable asset and resource for our clients,” Kyle Parks, B2 Communications co-principal, said. “Her promotion to account manager was the natural result of her professional growth, reflecting how she is a major factor in B2’s quality client service and continued growth.”
Saunders has a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Central Florida and contributes her expertise to a nonprofit dedicated to creating educational gardens for Title I schools called The Edible Peace Patch Project.
B2 provides an array of services from media relations, content development and coaching to guidance for client visibility, values and collaboration strategies.
