Rob Consalvo, the former chief operating officer of iStorage, was recently named president and chief technology officer of Elite Stor Capital Partners.
"Bringing Consalvo on board not only adds the I.T. expertise our company has been searching for, but the skills to drive operational efficiency as we scale and strive to further enhance the customer experience and continue to drive outsized returns to our investors," Benjamin Macfarland, co-founder and CEO of Elite, said.
Consalvo boasts extensive experience in managing self-storage locations, including handling 70 locations across 12 states for iStorage.
The company is counting on Consalvo's vision and expertise to implement an automated revenue management system, inquiry and conversion tracking, and other automated systems. Elite hopes the innovations will help it stay on top of the ever-changing market and improve its profitability.
"What you can measure you can manage," Consalvo said.
Consalvo is expected to rely on his team-building skills and high-energy leadership to complement Mcfarland's investment expertise. Elite is well-known for its successful acquisition and development of self-storage properties nationwide. Over the past year, it doubled its self-storage footprint to nearly 3 million square feet.
