Sanibel Captiva Bank branch opens in downtown Fort Myers

The Greater Fort Meyers Chamber of Commerce announced the opening of a Sanibel Captiva Community Bank branch in downtown Fort Meyers in a recent news release.

“Downtown Fort Myers will once again have a local bank presence,” Sanibel Captiva Community Bank President Craig Albert said in the release. “The location is extremely convenient for the business community, as well as neighborhood residents, and we look forward to seeing them in the branch.”

The branch is located in the Edison Theatre building at 1533 Hendry St. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 5 p.m. on Friday.

The downtown Fort Meyers branch is the bank's sixth branch. A seventh branch is scheduled to open in February at the corner of Gateway Boulevard and Devonshire Lakes Drive in Gateway.

Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, founded in 2003, provides individual and business banking services. It also provides money market accounts, safe deposit boxes, online and drive-through banking. The bank has $350 million in assets. It specializes in residential loans.
