Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee will host "A Don Rickles and Regis Philbin Laughfest; Stories; Film Clips and Fun" on March 2.
Rickles is a movie, television, and stage actor/comedian whose career was launched after Frank Sinatra saw his nightclub act in Miami Beach, the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce said on its website. Rickles television and film resume includes roles in "Casino," "Kelly’s Heroes" and all three "Toy Story" films.
Philbin has become a cultural pop icon in daytime and television broadcasting. First gaining national exposure in 1967 as the sidekick on "The Joey Bishop Show," then moving on to host a morning show, then landing "The Regis Philbin Show." In 1985, Kathie Lee Gifford was added, the show was renamed "Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee," the chamber release said.
The comic duo will not disappoint the Seminole Casino Hotel audience, the chamber release said.
Tickets are $125 and can be purchased at the casino or by calling 800-218-2007. Attendees must be at least 21 years of age or older.
