Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 Leadership Collier program.
Created by the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce more than two decades ago, the eight-month program offers an in-depth look into the challenges facing Collier County and prepares participants to be effective leaders in the community, the chamber said in a news release. Business owners, presidents, vice presidents, executive directors, senior executives and high-level managers across all industries within the region are encouraged to apply.
The program features 10 full-sessions between September 2017 and March 2018. Topics that will be explored include education, government, commerce, health care, the arts and law enforcement.
Graduates of the Leadership Collier program are expected to make a positive contribution to the community, as well as be active participants in the committees that are responsible for Leadership Collier Foundation Alumni Association activities and programs throughout the year. They are also required to serve as session chair for one of the following year's Leadership Collier class sessions.
Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. March 31. A tuition fee of $2,000 is required upon acceptance into the program.
