Architectural Metal Flashings (AMF), which produces an array of metal fixtures, recently opened a state-of-the-art facility in Cape Coral.

Jeffrey Bonk, AMF’s founder, said in a news release that he saw an increasing need for sheet metal fabricators and personalized service in fulfilling orders in a more time efficient manner. Metal products produced at the facility undergo extreme-condition testing; ensuring that they can eliminate water intrusion and stand against strong uplift conditions, the release said.

“From my experience in working start-to-finish on roofing projects that can represent hundreds of thousands of dollars, it became evident early on that so-called ‘value-added’ service should be the expectation, rather than the exception,” Bonk said in the release. “From a custom lettered metal sign for small businesses to roofing for a community of a hundred homes, every contractor or supplier should be able to expect excellence, consistency and personalized service.”

Since its opening, several suppliers and contractors have toured the 12,000-square-foot facility at 2659 N.E. Ninth Ave., the release said.
