The Boston Red Sox recently began inviting Fort Myers fans to have breakfast with the team's two green monster mascots, Wally and Tessie.

The meal is being held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Feb. 18 to correspond with the team's Spring Training Open House at JetBlue Park, located at 11500 Fenway South Drive. Space is limited, and tickets cost $35 for adults and $20 for children under 12. Children under 2 are free.

During the open house that follows the breakfast, fans can walk the field and get player autographs, enjoy discounted concessions and go on self-guided tours of the facility. Younger fans can also enjoy playing on inflatables, face painting and magicians.

The day will also feature T-Mobile's Red Sox Showcase, a 14-foot box truck that gives fans a Fenway experience with activities like a pitching accuracy challenge, photos in front of a Green Monster backdrop and authentic player equipment.
