The Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers will be holding its annual garden festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 11 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 12.
Dozens of vendors from all areas of Florida will be selling tropical and exotic plants and trees including herbs, orchids, cactus, succulents, hibiscus, palms, African violets, vegetables and bromeliads, a release posted on the Greater Fort Myers Chamber Of Commerce website said. Additionally, there will be native and heritage plants available at the Edison Ford Garden Shoppe. Other items for sale include cut flowers, ceramic flower pots, trellises, mulch and pottery.
The event will also offer live music, food, a petting zoo and children's crafts. Children will have the opportunity to make things such as Valentine's Day cards, pressed flower lockets, bookmarks and votive candle holders, the release said.
Admission and parking for the festival is free.
