The St. Pete Young Professionals, a council within the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, recently revealed the members of its 2017 executive board.
Solutions Behavioral Healthcare Chief Administrator Sean King will serve as the chair, the chamber said in a release. He is a former Young Professionals community service chair.
"I’m excited and honored to return this year as chair of the organization," King said in the release. "My goal is to bring more young professionals’ voices to the forefront through leadership opportunities and programming that our organization will provide this year."
The other 2017 board members are Vice Chair Carrie Harrill-Smith, clinical operations manager at BayCare Health System; Community Service Chair Melanie Gunaratna, implementation consultant at Ceridian; Community Service Vice Chair Ashley Westfall, project coordinator at Jabil; Diversity & Inclusion Chair Demetrius Taylor, underwriter for Mercury Insurance; Diversity & Inclusion Vice Chair Bobby Poth, real estate attorney at Westerman Zetrouer, PA and real estate agent for Revolution Real Estate; Economic Development Chair Mark Stroud, vice president of commercial lending at Bank of the Ozarks; Events Chair Lauren Ellis, executive coordinator at St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce; Finance Chair James Forsman, financial adviser at Morgan Stanley; Leadership Roundtable Chair John Harrison, Jr., commercial insurance adviser at Brown & Brown Insurance; Marketing Chair Virginia Bussey, director of marketing and communications at The Dawson Academy; Marketing Vice Chair Maryann Akinboyewa, public relations coordinator at The Penny Hoarder (Taylor Media); Marketing Vice Chair Kate Harris, talent acquisition operations analyst at Jabil; Membership Chair Set Carpintero, financial advisor at Seabridge Wealth Management; Membership Vice Chair Jerell Puyot, business development executive at InsideOut; Public Policy Chair Matt Lettelleir, director of party development for the Pinellas County Republican Party; and Public Policy Vice Chair Brooks Wallington, financial services representative at Hughes & Wallington Wealth Management.
