Gratitude isn't dead, as evidenced by the VIP reception being planned by the Lifeline Family Center in Fort Myers for God's Not Dead producer and actor David A.R. White, the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce reported recently.

Approximately 600 community members are anticipated for the 21st Annual Benefit Dinner, where White will also serve as guest speaker for the March 30 event.

“We are very pleased that David A.R. White will be coming to Southwest Florida to share his story and help all of us to have the courage to dream big," Kathy Miller, founder and president of the center, said. “His message is sure to resonate with all believers.”

The chamber of commerce called White's play "the most successful independent faith-based film of all time.”

The Lifeline Family Center helps homeless young women struggling in crisis pregnancies, offering support, job training, parenting classes, professional counseling and spiritual guidance. Several graduates of the two-year residential program also will speak about their experience and how Lifeline Family Center made a difference in their lives.
