Studio@620 in St. Petersburg will open a group photography exhibit this week.
“Here and There,” described as a “curated group photography exhibition,” is the collaborative effort of six local photographers with varying degrees of experience ranging from amateur to veteran.
“Here and There” will showcase the work of photographers Karen Kommer, Benjamin Ross Duensing, Laura Dante, Kevin Damphouse, Kéra Holzinger and Lenore Duensing.
The selections will feature a number of diverse styles and subjects both foreign and domestic with examples of landscapes and portraits among them.
The exhibition will open with a reception on Friday at 6 p.m., followed by another one during Second Saturday Art Walk on March 11. The show will run through March 31. Admission is free and open to the public. Additional gallery hours are available by appointment to schedule a viewing please call The Studio@620 office.
According to their website, Studio@620 is a non-profit organization with a mission “To provide a place where people can experience artistic and educational programs in innovative ways. To bring people from diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences together as artists, audiences and volunteers. To work collaboratively with artistic, educational, and cultural organizations in and beyond our community. To develop artistic and educational programs that integrate a variety of art forms in order to encourage new cultural experiences both for the audience and the artists.”
