Gainesville Arts and Parks Foundation holds Charity Golf Scramble

The Gainesville Arts and Parks Foundation (GAP) recently held its Charity Golf Scramble to benefit youth programs at Ironwood Golf Course.


The Gainesville Arts and Parks Foundation (GAP) recently held its Charity Golf Scramble at Ironwood Golf Course to benefit youth programs.

Participants were also invited to a awards dinner with opportunities for additional prizes including a 2017 Ford Mustang, a release on the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce website said.

GAP is a nonprofit organization formed in 2015 with a mission to support the city of Gainesville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department Vision 2020 Master Plan. The foundation hosts a number of fundraisers and events to support charitable causes throughout the community. Proceeds from the golf tournament will be used to provide scholarships for youth summer camp.
