Florida SouthWestern State College to hold information sessions on medical programs

Florida SouthWestern State College is set to hold information sessions this spring about its respiratory care and cardiovascular technology programs.


Florida SouthWestern State College is set to hold information sessions this spring about its respiratory care and cardiovascular technology programs.

The sessions run from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the school's Thomas Edison campus in Fort Meyers on April 3, April 17, May 10 and May 24. 

The information sessions are free and open to the public. 

The respiratory care program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care, a field in which students at the college can receive an associates' degree. 

The cardiovascular technology program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. Students in this program learn to work alongside cardiologists in the field, according to the college.
