Athletic stakeholders in St. Petersburg are partnering in preparation for the St. Pete Run Fest, slated this year for Nov. 18-19.
Local downtown physical therapy clinic and wellness center Back 2 Normal is working in conjunction with EndorFun Sports, a local sports club, to sponsor the event.
EndorFun Sports is producing the fitness festival, with plans for a St. Pete Half Marathon, a relay, a 5K, a kids’ race and a health and fitness market.
The St. Pete Half Marathon will begin at the waterfront by the Salvador Dali museum, head up Central Avenue, past Tropicana Field and through the Grand Central, Edge and Warehouse Arts districts, according to Tampa Bay Newswire.
The EndorFun organization mainly works with sports clubs, managers and promoters. The city of St. Petersburg “unanimously awarded” production of the first-time festival to the business in late March, Tampa Bay Newswire stated.
