Hodges University inducts 14 business students into honor society

Fourteen students from Hodges University's Johnson School of Business were recently inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society.

The international honor society recognizes students who have made academic achievements in their business studies.

Inducted students were Vily Andre, Lori Gunn, John Martinous and Dung Phan in the accounting field; Osman Cosgun, David Ferguson, Gratien Iyumva, Stela Sheehan and Marina Zupan in the business administration field; Carole Clark, Jennifer Porr, Jordan Scardigno and Kenneth Worthy in the management field; and Mari Thieryung in the public administration field.

Six administrators, faculty and staff members were also inducted. They were Hodges University President Donald Wortham, Dean of Students Marcia Turner, Johnson School of Business Dean Administrative Assistant Eve Olvera, Accounting Adjunct Faculty Member Rick Durant, Student and Support Services Senior VP Carol Morrison, and English as a Second Language Program Director Leisha Cali.

Barry Banther, CEO of Banther Consulting Corp. and Banther Family Advisors, was also honorary inductees.
