Fort Myers-based Priority Marketing recently earned accolades from the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Southwest Florida Chapter for two public affairs campaigns.
The firm earned an FPRA Image Award for its production of “The Ripple Effect,” a public affairs campaign supporting the Conservancy of Southwest Florida and an Award of Distinction for its work revolving around the 2017 Southwest Florida Wine & Food Fest event to raise funds for the SWFL Children’s Charities Inc., supporting children’s health care in the region, according to a press release.
“The Ripple Effect” promoted the conservancy’s endeavors to confront environmental challenges in Lake Okeechobee. Priority Marketing chose multiple channels for publicity, including social media, community relations and grass roots efforts. Additionally, it created a strategic digital marketing plan to reach audiences and motivate response, the release stated.
For the Southwest Florida Wine & Food Fest, Priority Marketing worked closely with event sponsors as coordinators, implementing ways to accommodate more participants and enhance logistics, as well as provide a full spectrum of graphics and media support.
The company has previously earned over 100 Image Awards. The awards are based on objective criteria including budget, objectives and measurable results. Judges are actually recruited from outside the local area.
