Bankers Financial Corp. (BFC) of St. Petersburg recently welcomed two members to its board of directors.
Mary Katherine McInnis and Kyle Menke bring long-time experience in finance to the board.
McInnis has worked in a wide range of fields, including global banking, consumer products, retail and education, according to an announcement. Previous financial affiliations include positions at Deloitte and Goldman Sachs, where she specialized in mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategic planning, cost savings, banking and claims, including digital applications.
McInnis received her bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Menke, a certified financial planner who is also chartered with three additional certifications, works with Northwestern Mutual as a financial adviser and brings a depth of knowledge in insurance and finance. Menke received a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Florida.
At BFC, Menke advises on international risk. He attained top rankings on several industry listings, including Northwestern Mutual's Top Under 5 Year Advisor List in the Southern Region in 2016 and its Top Under 5 Year Advisors in the U.S. during the 2016-17 fiscal year.
BFC includes 900 associates who process claims. The firm recently was ranked at No. 26 on a list of Tampa Bay’s top 200 companies in the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the release said.
