Verdex Construction has appointed 20-year construction veteran Brad Stull as its chief estimator to serve on the company’s South Florida projects.
Verdex, based in West Palm Beach, said in a recent announcement that Stull's duties will include preparing project estimates for clients and overseeing the company’s preconstruction department.
“Brad has tremendous talent in finding hidden cost opportunities and additional value for our clients during preconstruction,” Verdex President Rex Kirby said in a prepared statement. “He gives our clients and their projects a lot of attention, which is one of the reasons several clients have chosen Verdex over other contractors.”
Stull, a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind., holds a bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering. He has supervised a wide range of construction projects throughout South Florida, including multifamily housing, hospitality, commercial and senior living.
Among Stull’s duties will be to prepare complete project estimates for clients, develop and review work and coordinate subcontractors as well as bid document compliance.
Verdex’s current South Florida projects include Michael Jordan’s co-owned restaurant on the Loxahatchee River in Jupiter, the 19-story, 68-unit Sabbia Beach Condominiums in Pompano Beach as well as Turnpike Business Park in West Palm and the High Ridge Landing apartment complex in Boynton Beach.
