Former U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Department of Justice (DOJ) attorney Matthew Fischer recently joined the Florida Healthcare Law Firm.
Fischer's experience includes Medicare audits, appeals and compliance as well as over a decade of criminal and civil law trial experience. Previously a senior attorney adviser for the HHS Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals, he also has been an adviser to federal administrative law judges. He has served as a special assistant U.S. Attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and as an assistant general counsel with the FBI.
