GREATER MIAMI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Miami Chamber Supports Increased Funding for South Florida schools.

Miami-Dade superintendent Alberto Carvalho recently criticized Florida legislature for its recent education budget which will give Miami-Dade per-student funding well below the state average. Miami-Dade is the fourth largest school district in the nation, yet it will be receiving a per-student increase of $65.06 -- just above Broward and Gadsden.

Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Mar 13.
