Tuition and fees fell 55.1 percent for 2017-18 at Pinellas Technical College-Clearwater, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida students paid $3,066 to attend the public school this year $3,765 less than the $6,831 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 76 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 314 students received grants or scholarships totaling $926,657.

Including all undergraduates, 752 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.35 million.
