Rasmussen College-Florida enrolls 8,141 undergrads


At Rasmussen College-Florida, 79 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 82 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Ocala enrolled 8,146 students in fall 2017, including 8,141 in undergraduate and 5 in graduate programs, data shows. 16.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

66 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida, and 34 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (54 percent) and Black or African American (17 percent).
