The Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement Docent Recruitment Info Session
Wednesday December 5, 2018
11 am- 12 noon
Mirror Lake Community Library 280 5th St. North, St. Petersburg
Are you an art lover with a desire to share that passion with others? The Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement is looking for talented lifelong learners to join our first Docent class for the Museum's 2019 opening.
Docents are volunteer members of the Education Department who help execute
MAACM’s mission through the facilitation of museum tours for guests of all ages. MAACM docents are educators who, at their core, are passionate about sharing the works of art, their stories, and context with the public. Through thought-provoking conversations in the galleries, they encourage museum guests to connect and create a personal meaning with objects in the Museum's collection.
Join us on December 5, at the Mirror Lake Community Library from 11 am-12 noon to learn more about the Museum, meet the staff, and find out what it takes to become a MAACM Docent.
Please RSVP to Andrea Morgan
Director of Education at andrea@museumaacm.org
