Graduates earn 795 degrees from Palm Beach Atlantic University


About 33.3 percent of the 795 degrees and certificates handed out by Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Beach conferred 114 master's degrees and 92 doctor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in pharmacy. Data shows the school gave out 72 doctor's degrees in pharmacy, followed by 62 master's degrees in mental health counseling/counselor and 60 bachelor's degrees in general psychology.

The university enrolled 3,839 students for 2017-18, including 3,003 in undergraduate programs and 836 in graduate programs.
