Graduates earn 256 degrees from Ave Maria University


About 23.1 percent of the 256 degrees and certificates handed out by Ave Maria University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Maria conferred 59 bachelor's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general psychology. Data shows the school gave out 28 bachelor's degrees in general psychology, followed by 27 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 18 bachelor's degrees in kinesiology and exercise science.

The university enrolled 1,113 students for 2017-18, including 1,072 in undergraduate programs and 41 in graduate programs.
