Graduates earn 235 degrees, certificates from American College for Medical Careers


About 46.4 percent of the 235 degrees and certificates handed out by American College for Medical Careers in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Orlando conferred 70 associate's degrees and 39 certificates in medical/clinical assistant programs.

Other popular programs include dental assisting/assistant, diagnostic medical sonography/sonographer and ultrasound technician and health information/medical records technology/technician.

The college enrolled 481 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
