Census Bureau reports Lake Alfred population was 5,490 in 2017


Lake Alfred, Florida had a population of 5,490 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Florida Business Daily.

The median age was 40, with 50.6 percent of the total population being female and 49.4 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 20,278,447.
