82 percent of applicants to the Health Career Institute were admitted for fall 2018


At the Health Career Institute, 83 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 88 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in West Palm Beach enrolled 404 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 27.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

89 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (53 percent) and white (13 percent).

The school admitted 82 percent of the 11 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 100 percent enrolled.
