Indian River State College enrolls 16,686 undergrads


At Indian River State College, 68 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 61 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Fort Pierce enrolled 16,686 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

98 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida, and 1 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (51 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (26 percent).
