Cost of college went up for all students at Suncoast Technical College


Tuition and fees rose 4.2 percent for 2018-19 at Suncoast Technical College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida students paid $6,217 to attend the public school this year – $249 more than the $5,968 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 64 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 289 students received grants or scholarships totaling $750,944.

Including all undergraduates (1,102), 554 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.3 million.
