Census Bureau: More men than women in Cape Canaveral in 2017


Of the 10,169 people living in Cape Canaveral in 2017, 49.2 percent (5,004) were women and 50.8 percent (5,165) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Florida Business Daily.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 2,984-to-2,497. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 2,119 females and 1,533 males.
