SBA Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman is set to launch National Small Business Week (NSBW) events in Washington, D.C. on April 28-29. The event will bring together the 2024 Award Winners, individuals who exemplify the resilience and determination driving the nation's economy.

During the event, the Small Business Administration (SBA) will honor various stakeholders for their contributions to entrepreneurial development, federal contracting, lending, disaster recovery, and more. Administrator Guzman stated, "The press is invited to attend all events and must RSVP... Speakers and awardees can be made available for interviews upon request."

The first day of the event, Sunday, April 28, will feature a range of awards recognizing excellence in different categories, as Administrator Guzman and the 2024 NSBW Award Recipients gather for the Opening Awards Ceremony. The day's schedule includes a reception, networking, an exhibitor showcase, a Fireside Chat, and a dinner, culminating in the Awards Ceremony.

On Monday, April 29, the festivities continue with the National Small Business Week Awards Ceremony, where the National Small Business Person of the Year and a runner-up will be announced. Various awards will be presented, including Small Business Exporter of the Year, National Prime Contractor of the Year, and SBA T.H.R.I.V.E. Cohort of the Year 2023 Awards.

In the spirit of National Small Business Week, SBA celebrates the significant growth of entrepreneurship in the United States under the Biden-Harris Administration, marked by 16 million new business applications. The agency reaffirmed its commitment to supporting small businesses and their crucial role in driving economic prosperity across the nation.
