Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Description:

The purpose of this Rountable discussion is to highlight some of the business model changes restaurants, bars, event planners and beverage producers have undertake to modify their operations in order to stay in business, better serve their employees and communities and show steady grow in 2022 and beyond.

The goal of the workforce and education roundtable is to look at all of the different approaches used in adjusting business models in response to the dining restrictions put in place due to the pandemic. Our objective is to discuss and review all of the processes and procedures that were developed which recommendations like developing contingency plans, being more flexible and creative, eliminating menu items, investing in a communication platforms and social media and getting involved with local government. Some hot topics include new practices operators pivoted to, in particular, developing a takeout menu, starting home delivery, selling gift cards and working on donation pages.
